Unhinged

This video demonstrates a common occurrence where my abuser would show up unannounced, in an extremely aggressive state, then become totally unhinged when I wouldn't answer the door. I did not feel safe in my home even though the doors were locked because this would happen at all hours of the night. The level of anxiety I would have when it sounded like he was breaking down the door... I remember once at 3am I locked myself in my bathroom and he had gotten into the garage and was trying to get in that door. No one should have to experience this type of behavior. This example clearly shows how abusers completely lose control when they lose their power.
